Poster for May Day March. Title: Resist Austerity - Demand Change.May Day 2015 is rapidly approaching! May Day, or International Workers’ Day, is an international celebration of workers. Every year, May Day is a time to honour and remember the many struggles of the labour movement, and an opportunity for workers to rally for their rights.

In Ottawa, you’re invited to take part in the events organized by May Day Ottawa.

Join us at 4 p.m. in front of Tabaret Hall to rally in support of a public, accessible, and affordable post-secondary education sector that fosters stable, well-paid, unionized public employment.

In Gatineau, a popular assembly against austerity will take place starting at 11 a.m. in Fontaine Park, in Old Hull. See the following Facebook page (in French) for more information.
