Good news! CUPE 2626’s Bargaining Committee has reached a tentative agreement with the University!
The next step is to begin the ratification process!
Ratification is the process by which members of the bargaining unit (that’s YOU!) vote to accept or reject the terms of the new collective agreement that the university and the CUPE 2626 Bargaining Committee have negotiated. Those new terms include salary rates, health and dental fund, tuition support benefits and more.
In the coming weeks, we will send out more information via the newsletter and our Twitter and Facebook page about how we plan on going about ratification and more information about the terms of the new Collective Agreement!
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at nego@2626.ca.
