The following table details the salary rates for the various positions covered by the CUPE 2626 2019-2022 Collective Agreement. Please note that we are currently negociating a new Collective Agreement.
Remarks
These rates apply to positions funded from the University of Ottawa’s operating budget (Art. 32.1).
The rate of pay for Research Assistants who are paid from sources other than the University’s operating fund such as external agency grants should normally be at least the same rate than the one for Research Assistants who are paid from the University’s operating budget (Art. 30.2).
Undergraduate students who are hired for a position covered by the CUPE 2626 Collective Agreement and have previously obtained a graduate degree (in any field of study) will be paid at the graduate rate of pay (Art. 32.2.3).

CO-OP Students hired under the Work-Study Program whose job duties include research or TAship are also subject to the terms of the Collective Agreement, with the exception of job postings and appointments, assignments, workload, and rates of pay.
