The following table details the salary rates for the various positions covered by the CUPE 2626 Collective Agreement.

Please note that we are currently in negotiations with the University administration for a new collective agreement. Pending an agreement between the parties, your salary remains the same as that of 2018–2019. In the event that we achieve a salary increase for your position, you will receive back pay for the hours you worked after August 31, 2019.

Remarks

These rates apply to positions funded from the University of Ottawa’s operating budget (Art. 32.1).

The rate of pay for research assistants who are paid from sources other than the University’s operating fund such as external agency grants should normally be at least the same rate than the one for research assistants who are paid from the University’s operating budget (Art. 30.2).

Undergraduate students who are hired for a position covered by the CUPE 2626 Collective Agreement and have previously obtained a graduate degree (in any field of study) will be paid at the graduate rate of pay (Art. 32.2.3).
